Itinerary at a Glance
30-Minute Great Barrier Reef:
Take off from Cairns, flying over the vibrant turquoise waters surrounding Green Island and Arlington Reef. You’ll circle over Upolu Sand Cay, a small, sandy outcrop surrounded by coral gardens. As you glide above, keep an eye out for turtles and rays gliding just below the water’s surface.
45-Minute Reef & Rainforest:
This journey begins with sweeping views of the reef before heading inland to see Double Island and the lush landscapes around Barron Gorge National Park. Witness the impressive Barron Falls cascading over ancient rocks, and get a bird’s-eye view of Kuranda and the scenic Skyrail cableway crossing the rainforest.
60-Minute Reef & Rainforest:
Extending the 45-minute itinerary, this flight includes extra time to explore the Lamb Range and Lake Morris, surrounded by rugged hills and thick forest. You’ll experience the beauty of both rainforest and reef landscapes, capturing some of the most diverse views North Queensland has to offer.

Check in: 30 minutes prior to departure.
For flights with up to 6 passengers, check-in and departure take place at the Pier Heliport, located at Marina Point, 2 Pier Point Road, Cairns City QLD 4870.
For larger groups of 7 or more, flights depart from the General Aviation Heliport at Hangar 7, Bush Pilots Avenue, Aeroglen QLD 4870
Transfers: Make your own way to departure point – transfers not included.

Flights require a minimum number of passengers. Weather conditions may alter flight paths.
Infant and Child policy:
- Children aged 3 and over are required by law to have their own seat and must pay the standard seat fare.
- Children aged 0-2 can travel free of charge on a parent or guardian's lap, with a maximum of one lap-held child per flight.
Passenger Weights:
Accurate individual passenger weights and carry-on luggage details are required at booking due to helicopter weight limits.
All passengers and luggage must be weighed at check-in, as required by law.
If a passenger’s weight is more than 10% different from what was provided, additional fees may apply or luggage allowances may be adjusted.
The maximum single-seat weight capacity is 130kg. Passengers over 130kg may need to purchase an additional seat at 50% of the ticket price to maintain comfort and balance.
